How we assess Web3 expertise
To keep our standards consistent and world-class, we developed the Web3 Bar Raiser Interview. Every candidate for Web3 roles is evaluated by dedicated interviewers trained to assess fluency, applied knowledge, and perspective across the ecosystem. We recognize three levels of Web3 expertise:
Expert
Domain-leading, shaping protocols, governance, or architectures.
Advanced
Applied blockchain principles in real-world products, systems, or communities.
Basic
Foundational literacy with curiosity and emerging practice.
What we’re looking for
We’re interested in individuals who:
- Build or design decentralized systems with an eye on scalability and security.
- Contribute to or lead DAOs, protocols, or Web3-native products.
- Understand onchain vs. offchain design trade-offs.
- Track and influence trends across ecosystems.
- Bring curiosity, fluency, and hands-on experience with the tools shaping Web3’s future.
