About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Americas, Business Development to represent Chainlink Labs and drive the adoption of our products and services in the Americas. This is a strategic, high-impact role requiring a hands-on approach to building relationships with key players in capital markets. You will engage with senior stakeholders, influence CLL’s product roadmap, and be the face of CLL at industry events, working to increase our footprint across market infrastructures, asset managers, and commercial banks.

As a regional ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in building strategic relationships with key institutions, fostering revenue growth, and ensuring the success of targeted accounts.

Your Impact

  • Develop Strategic Relationships: Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with top 20 banks, financial market infrastructures (FMIs), and asset managers across three regions, ensuring growth and progress in these relationships.
  • Expand Partnerships: Implement programs designed to foster the development and expansion of strategic relationships within targeted accounts, focusing on long-term engagement and collaboration.
  • Key Account Management: Take ownership of establishing and managing relationships with financial institutions and capital markets institutions to meet business objectives.
  • Influence Product Development: Influence the CLL product roadmap by aligning customer feedback with business priorities and strategic goals.
  • Public Representation: Act as Chainlink Labs' ambassador at industry conferences, client events, and other high-visibility forums.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of clients in highly regulated industries.
  • Shape Blockchain Adoption: Help shape the future of decentralized finance by driving the adoption of blockchain technology within real-world asset (RWA) initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15+ years of banking, capital markets software or services sales experience with a proven track record of negotiating large scale, multi-million dollar deals through influence and connections across C-suite stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to hire, manage, lead and retain top talent with minimum of 5+ years of management experience with revenue accountability >$50M ARR (this will have likely been at a Regional Director, Regional VP, or VP level within their prior organizations)
  • Deep expertise working with market infrastructures, asset managers, and commercial banks.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives with confidence.
  • Strong experience negotiating complex commercial and contractual framework agreements.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—able to build something from the ground up (e.g., startup, new department, or initiative).
  • In-depth understanding of the Real World Asset (RWA) landscape, including challenges and opportunities for scaling.
  • Experience working within regulated industries, particularly in capital markets or financial services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with digital assets, blockchain technologies, or decentralized finance (DeFi).
  • Previous experience within a leading financial services provider or fintech company.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with a credible stage presence for representing CLL at industry events.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale initiatives, businesses, or departments from scratch
