About the Role

We’re looking for a Vice President of Marketing to define and lead Chainlink Labs' global brand, growth and communications strategy. This is a critical executive role shaping how the world - especially the broader decentralized ecosystem and our partners - experiences the brand, product, and community.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, deep Web3 fluency, and operational excellence. You will scale a world-class marketing organization, drive consistent brand leadership, and build the narratives and programs that expand Chainlink’s reach across developers, enterprises, and the broader blockchain ecosystem while deeply nurturing and growing our existing LINK community. This leader must understand how to engage, promote, and strengthen Chainlink’s own ecosystem, not just the wider Web3 landscape.

Your Impact

  • Own the global marketing brand and communications strategy: Define and execute an integrated marketing vision that spans brand, community, content, and growth, aligned with company-wide objectives.
  • Shape and scale the narrative: Translate complex, technical innovation into compelling stories that resonate across audiences—from crypto-native builders to institutional partners.
  • Build crypto-native growth engines: Design and deploy innovative programs that leverage Web3-specific mechanics—such as onchain campaigns, incentive models, and community activation—to drive adoption.
  • Oversee brand and communications: Lead the development of thought leadership, earned media, and creative content that strengthens Chainlink’s position as the foundational layer of Web3.
  • Evolve and scale the team: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing marketing teams that can operate with speed and precision across global markets.
  • Leverage insights and data: Establish and track KPIs to measure impact, inform strategy, and optimize performance across campaigns, programs and channels.
  • Amplify ecosystem presence: Cultivate relationships with partners, analysts, journalists, and influencers to drive visibility and influence across the Web3 space.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in senior or executive leadership roles at high-growth technology or Web3 companies.
  • Proven success building global brands, launching products, and scaling communities in fast-paced, technical environments.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized ecosystems, and crypto-native social platforms (X, Discord, Farcaster, Telegram, etc.).
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative capabilities—able to translate data and technical concepts into actionable marketing strategy.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a history of building high-performance teams.
  • Experience operating across distributed teams and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and leading with clarity in a rapidly evolving industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading marketing functions in developer-centric or protocol-driven organizations.
  • Proven ability to launch and scale multi-channel global campaigns across both B2B and community ecosystems.
  • Deep relationships across Web3 media, influencer, and partner networks.
  • Demonstrated track record of building marketing systems that scale sustainably across regions and product lines.
